Transparent panels for aquariums, pool portholes

For private clients and institutions, SILES installs transparent panels designed to give underwater visibility in aquariums and pools.

Depending on the specific demands of the project, we use mineral glass or PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) panels.

A plastic material, the advantage of PMMA is that it can be thermoformed to achieve original and attractive shapes (hemispheres, concave or convex curved panels, tunnels, etc).  In addition, it is suitable for large sized projects (up to 7.5 m long); several panels can be joined together by chemical welding, which is almost invisible. These assemblies are used for the construction of large scale panels, aquatic tunnels, underwater rooms, etc.
